HIS STORY
Evan began his racing career in karting at the age of 12. What started as an alternative to motocross quickly evolved from local club races to regional and national competitions.
After achieving success at the national level, Evan was recognized as one of the top karting talents for multiple years. His transition to professional car racing gained momentum when Mazda Motorsports selected him as a candidate for the prestigious Mazda Shootout.
Following his participation in the Mazda Shootout, Evan expanded his experience in open-wheel racing by attending Lucas Oil and Skip Barber racing schools. Soon after, he secured sponsorships from local businesses to compete in The Road to Indy Series presented by Cooper Tires, driving in the USF2000 class for Cape Motorsports. Making the leap from low-powered karts to high-performance wings-and-slicks race cars with significant downforce in just a few weeks was a transformational shift. Despite the challenge, Evan excelled—finishing the season as the highest-placing true rookie with no prior professional race car experience. He was also twice recognized as a “Hard Charger” by the series for his impressive performances.
Building on his strong open-wheel foundation, Evan expanded his racing portfolio to include sports cars and endurance racing. With sponsorship support, he competed extensively in the World Racing League (WRL), gaining valuable track time and refining his racecraft. He consistently qualified in the Top 5, competing against seasoned professionals. Known for his endurance and precision, Evan frequently set the fastest lap of the race for his class—often late in races when tire wear and car fatigue were at their peak.
Evan’s standout performances across multiple cars and tracks led to an opportunity to race a Porsche 991.2 in the International GT (iGT) Championship Series. He made an immediate impact, securing a podium finish in his debut race at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) and winning again at Daytona in the same car. The following year, he continued to find success in select WRL and iGT races.
Most recently, Evan competed at Homestead-Miami, piloting a Porsche 991.2 GT3 Cup car. In a thrilling battle, he found himself on track against IMSA and Trans Am champion Andy Pilgrim, ultimately finishing a close second to the legendary driver—once again proving his skill and potential at the highest levels of competition.
